Sinclair Electrical and Refrigeration Events Centre is South Taranaki’s premier sports, recreation, events and function centre based in Ōpunakē, South Taranaki.
There is plenty of parking and also provision for Field sports, Indoor stadium sports, Squash Courts, Tennis Courts and a Health and Fitness Gym.
The venue is ideal for tournaments and caters for every day to multiple sports codes, training, education, social and family events. The Sinclair Electrical and Refrigeration Events Centre also offers conference facilities with a fully licensed restaurant and bar to cater for events of all sizes, from small training events to larger exhibitions.

FACILITIES AVAILABLE FOR HIRE
STADIUM
For all events from Basketball & Netball to Road Shows and Arts Exhibitions.
Info: The arena is of an international standard with a sprung floor, digital scoreboard and shot clock. We can also seat over 200 people in the upstairs viewing area.
Sports: Netball, indoor Tennis, Basketball, Indoor Soccer, Volleyball, Badminton, Dodge ball.
Capacity: Theatre Style (800), Banquet (440), Cocktail (1000)
Cost to hire: $31.05 per hour or $184 for up to 8 hours. Carpet is a requirement for all non-sporting events, please contact us for more information and pricing.
MAUI ROOM
The Maui Room is our upstairs function room.
Info: Maui room Lounge is perfect for staff trainings, meetings and breakout room for conferences. The Maui room also has a large TV screen to chromecast onto or connect via HDMI cable, also a white board and Kitchen facilities.
Capacity: Theatre style (60), Classroom (40), Boardroom (30)
Costs: $18.40 per hour or up to $103.50 per hour

Our Stevensons Lounge is perfect for small meetings and as a breakout room for conferences.
Info: The Stevensons lounge is on the ground floor with bi-folding doors that open onto our rugby/League field and athletics track. Being so close to the sports field also makes a perfect headquarters for outdoor events. The Stevensons Lounge has a bar that adjoins our restaurant and Dartboards available for use.
Capacity: Theatre style (50), Banquet (50), Cocktail (80), Classroom (40), Boardroom (20)
Sports/Fitness: Darts, Yoga, Pilates, Metafit, Getfit, Art Classes
Costs: $18.40 per hour or $103.50 for up to 8 hours
The restaurant and bar area are available to hire. The restaurant and bar adjoin our Stevensens Lounge which is generally used as a buffet area for the food at functions. Both rooms are ideal for small meetings, funerals, staff training and work well as optional breakout rooms for conferences.

2 public Tennis Courts
We have two tennis courts available which are situated at the northern end of the complex. The courts are available for free for the general public to use.
SPORTS FIELDS
3 outdoor sports fields available by booking
The outdoor fields consist of 3 rugby fields. All fields have training lights around them with the number one field having lights capable of hosting under light matches. In the Summer there is a grass athletics track that runs around the number one rugby field.

CHANGING ROOMS
8x Changing Rooms
We offer 8 men and women's changing rooms, with hot showers, that connect to our sports field, and an additional referee shower room. Available at a cost of $30 per day.
CAR PARKING
2 sets of Car parks
We also offer car parking for up to 50 Cars with two additional disabled car parks available near the entrance of the facility.
